Yarn of the Month - CaMaRose Okologisk Pimabomuld

The cotton that stays soft

Most cotton knits start soft and end up stiff. CaMaRose Økologisk Pimabomuld does not, and the reason is in the fibre. It is spun from 100% organic Pima, an extra long staple cotton, so it can be twisted less and still stay strong. That gives you a yarn with a gentle sheen, real softness against the skin, and stitches that stay crisp, wash after wash, without the papery feel cotton so often takes on.

It is a fingering weight, 200m to a 50g ball on 2.5 to 3.0 mm needles, which makes it light enough for our heat and fine enough for the things you want to wear all the time. Baby blankets and cardigans, children's clothes, summer tees, shawls, crochet tops. It resists pilling, it washes at 30 to 40 degrees, and it keeps its colour.

Twenty three shades to choose from!

Bring along a photograph or reference that speaks to your heart. It could be a cosy corner of your home, a favourite pet, a beloved local landmark or simply a memory or feeling you would like to capture. No artistic background is needed—just come ready to explore, play and enjoy the process.
