Yarning Hearts is a boutique yarn studio, located centrally in Singapore. We pride ourselves in bringing in only natural fibres, from plants or animals, from small mills/companies and independent dyers around the world, so that our customers have the best options for their crafting projects.

Lyrical Threads 2025 - Session 3
Lyrical Threads is a platform to facilitate the expression of our personal thoughts and feelings in a beautiful way - be in through crafts, words or our own life. Each session of Lyrical Threads will feature a speaker who will share of their journey and experience in a particular area of craft, product or life experience. We hope that through their sharing, you too may be inspired to learn a new craft or embark on a new adventure in life. A bulk of the time at Lyrical Threads will be spent working on your own craft project and mingling with new and familiar faces.

Embroider Mending with Momshoo

Dive into the art of repairing your garments and other personal fabric articles!
Drawing inspirations from age-old textile-repair traditions like boroboro in Japan or Kantha in India (or the old-school thrifty habits of our grandparents!), the movement of visible mending is growing.
In this workshop, we explore how to mend your textiles creatively with embroidery techniques. A variety of methods will be introduced to cover up holes/stains and prevent tears from getting bigger.
Lyrical Threads Session #3 - Open Crafting Night

We’re back for the third session of Lyrical Threads 2025—a cozy, come-as-you-are evening of open crafting and connection.
Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, or any project you’re working on, and settle in for a relaxed night with fellow makers. No agenda, just good company, yarny conversations, and creative flow.
✨ New this round: we’re having a Stitch Marker Swap! Bring along a few of your favourite or unique stitch markers (handmade or store-bought) and exchange them with fellow crafters—because tiny treasures deserve to travel.
Drinks and light snacks provided. Whether you’re here to finish a WIP, start something new, or just enjoy the vibe, we can’t wait to stitch the evening away with you.

Embroider Patch Workshop with Momshoo

In this delightful workshop led by Momshoo, you’ll learn to hand-embroider whimsical wildlife-inspired fabric patches, drawing from the rich fauna of our local landscape. These playful accents are perfect for giving your favourite pieces a creative refresh.No experience? No problem. This session is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone curious about stitching.
In this workshop, we will explore basic embroidery stitches to bring your motif to life, learn how to turn your design into a patch and use simple appliqué techniques to attach your patches to clothing or accessories.
All materials and tools will be provided—enough to create 1–2 patches to take home.
